The Greatest circus festival comes to Monaco

Created in 1974 by His Majesty the Prince of Monaco Rainier III, the International Circus Festival in Monte-Carlo has become the largest and most significant circus event in the world. Festival Award ‘Golden Clown’ – is the most prestigious prize in the circus world.

This year, from 16^th to 26^th of January 2020 the Principality will once again become the global circus capital. Under the presidency of HSH Princess Stéphanie, the International Circus Festival will reward the best circus artists of nowadays. Over 150 artists from all over the world will compete at the famous ring of the Chapiteau de Fontvieille to win the most valuable price: the Gold, Silver and Bronze Clowns.
